Well, many of you computer geeks out there might be thinking that what kind of stupid moron could be unaware about “The Blogs” for such long time. Well, that moron is ME.

In fact to be honest I was not completely unaware of them but I was “Just not free”. You see I am a medical student – may be a medico nerd, and I am just nearing the completion of my basic sciences course at my medical school, which by the way is Maulana Azad Medical College; the prestigious institute of my country.

Let me be honest, life is hard being a medical student as you set out to learn the knowledge of millenniums in six years or even less. Its right that you are standing on the shoulders of geniuses, of many legendary scholars and physicians but you can’t just stand there as a burden on them. You have to contribute. That’s why there are medical schools, exams, books and what not just to ensure that by the time you bid farewell to this world you have indeed contributed something meaningful to humanity. It is this desire to contribute something that keeps me going. It’s that flame within, that something which keeps me going on.

Well you might me wondering that why I need to write all this in my blog? Well, this is MY BLOG. I write what I like. Period. Then why I made it public? This is because I have always got inspired by deeds of someone else, and may be somewhere in this world, this web, somebody might benefit and I may have some fan, somebody who looks up to me without me knowing it.

You know how it feels when someone thinks of you as savior. I know, because I have experienced it with my colleagues (who look up to me for their answers, for help, for petty things), with my patients (who look up to me as one who can clarify their doubts regarding their illness) and yes, with myself (when I look up myself as a well accomplished, renowned physician who just saved the day for someone, somewhere with his unmatched medical skills and expertise)

That’s ME.
